Merger means when two or more company combined with each other and either make a single entity or one company lose its entity and other company continued his business.  Horizontal merger - Two companies that are in direct competition and share the same product lines and markets. Vertical merger - A customer and company or a supplier and company. Think of a cone supplier merging with an ice cream maker.  

Duties of an auditor

Audit means check of the accounts at the end of the year after preparation of accountancy. An auditor must have knowledge of accounting. When any person goes in company for auditing then they must have a technical knowledge of audit. An audit is just like a watchdog of the company. As dog always think about the owner of the house as it the same way auditor always think about the owner of the company.
